Canada Post and its union are in negotiations and there may be a complete or partial work stoppage. We hope for a speedy resolution to the key issues without a delay in mail service.

I just made a donation. Did you get it?

Mail services are operating normally, so we’re receiving mail and issuing tax receipts. In the event of a partial disruption, we’ll continue to receive mail and issue tax receipts, though there may be delays. In the event of a complete stoppage, Canada Post will secure any undelivered mail deposited before the stoppage began and deliver it once the stoppage ends. We’ll process donations immediately once we receive them.

I’m waiting for a tax receipt. When will I get it?

We’re continuing to issue tax receipts. If there’s a complete stoppage, we’ll send your receipt immediately after the stoppage ends.
