In December 2025, the David Suzuki Foundation and allied environmental, community and health organizations sent a letter to Environment and Climate Change’s consultation and Minister Julie Dabrusin to express their support for the important work the department is undertaking to develop Canada’s first national strategy to assess, prevent and address environmental racism and to advance environmental justice.
