Tickets go on sale February 27 for the May 22 fundraiser, promising an unforgettable night of music and storytelling
VANCOUVER | TRADITIONAL, UNCEDED TERRITORIES OF THE xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (MUSQUEAM), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (SQUAMISH) AND səlilwətaɬ (TSLEIL-WAUTUTH) FIRST NATIONS — The David Suzuki Foundation is inviting David Suzuki fans and followers to attend “Legacy: A Celebration of David at 90,” a benefit concert marking David Suzuki’s 90th birthday.
Pre-sale tickets to the concert celebrating the scientist, broadcaster, author, activist and David Suzuki Foundation co-founder will be released to Foundation VIPs, donors and supporters on a rolling basis, with public access beginning Friday, February 27.
The concert will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, 600 Hamilton Street, Vancouver. Tickets start at $259.
Renowned storyteller, broadcaster and producer George Stroumboulopoulos will host the inspirational, joyful evening honouring David’s lifelong dedication to the planet. Musical acts, performers and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
Over his lifetime, David Suzuki has inspired millions worldwide, shaped a movement and forever changed how people throughout Canada and the world see our place in the natural world. The event is a rallying cry for environmental action and a celebration of all those who have joined David Suzuki on his journey.
“David Suzuki is one of the most beloved and influential environmental voices of our time,” David Suzuki Foundation executive director Pierre Iachetti said. “For more than 50 years, he’s called on people in Canada and around the world to stand together and act with courage and compassion to confront ecological crises.”
To this day, David Suzuki’s voice and vision continue to spark meaningful change. This 90th birthday celebration provides David Suzuki fans and Foundation supporters a chance to honour and thank him and answer his call to action.
