You spoke up for climate action in Vancouver

Throughout May you asked Vancouver Council to vote for eight new measures to support the City’s Climate Emergency Action Plan. These measures include:

  • Moving faster on climate policy, like reducing emissions from large commercial buildings.
  • New funding that supports improved low-cost and reliable active transportation choices
  • Speeding up processes to support residents who want to install a heat pump.
  • Aligning community plans with Vancouver Plan to create more walkable neighbourhoods.

Council unanimously voted for these measures. Thank you. When we raise our voices it makes a difference in helping solve the climate crisis.
