Credentials: BSc (honours) in environmental science from Simon Fraser University, thesis focused on old-growth forest structure; MSc in ecology from University of British Columbia Okanagan, thesis focused on grizzly bear diet; 10+ years working in forests around B.C. on wildfire rehabilitation, old-growth forests and wildlife habitat.

Passions: Snowboarding, old-growth trees and forests, photography, grizzly bears, reading and writing (mostly about snowboarding), the furthest reaches of the wilderness and the nature right outside our doors.
