Passions: Both personally and professionally, I’m driven by a deep commitment to supporting communities, inspiring meaningful change and helping build a healthier, more just world for future generations. The climate and biodiversity crises demand courage, collaboration and creativity, and I’ve always believed in the power of collective ideas and bold thinking to spark the solutions we urgently need. At the David Suzuki Foundation, I’m grateful every day to work alongside people who share that same determination and hope.

Outside the office, I stay grounded through rugby — as a referee, fan, rugby dad and, until recently, a player of the beautiful game. As a newer arrival in Vancouver, I’ve loved getting to know this place by exploring forest trails with my partner and our rescue pup, skiing, kayaking, playing badminton and spending time with family and friends. These moments outdoors remind me why our work matters and who we’re doing it for.

At the David Suzuki Foundation, the work we do is deeply personal to me. I’ve seen first-hand how human rights, strong communities and a healthy environment are woven together. When one is weakened, all are affected. Standing alongside Indigenous partners or supporting grassroots conservation efforts reminds me that this isn’t just about policies or campaigns. It’s about dignity, belonging and ensuring people have the power to shape their own futures. For me, protecting the environment and advancing reconciliation are part of the same commitment. And it’s those moments — when someone feels heard, respected or genuinely empowered — that stay with me and keep me focused on why this work matters.
