MONTREAL | KANIEN’KEHÁ:KA UNCEDED TERRITORY, Monday, March 23, 2026 — On Tuesday, March 31, the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal is holding a benefit concert in support of the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal on Missing Indigenous Children and Unmarked Graves.

Featuring Wolastoqiyik artist Jeremy Dutcher and Anishinaabe band Ribbon Skirt, this special evening will highlight Indigenous resurgence through music and collective action.

As part of the Tribunal, survivors, families, Elders, legal experts, researchers and community leaders will present evidence and testimony on historical and ongoing violence against Indigenous Peoples. The session will take place May 25–29, 2026, in Montreal.

Proceeds from the concert will support the Tribunal and directly fund the NWSM’s upcoming Indigenous Resurgence Gathering, creating space for residential school survivors and their families to access traditional teachings and healing.
