Thank you! Nearly 20,000 of you spoke up to voice your opposition to the Teck Frontier open-pit oilsands mine in northern Alberta. You recognized that approving this project during a climate emergency would be irresponsible and would put threatened species at even greater risk. Teck heard you and the groundswell of other Canadians who spoke out against the project and withdrew its application for the mine.
Let’s continue to support workers and the transition to clean energy systems, and protecting habitat that threatened caribou and other species need for their survival.
