Hundreds of Edmontonians emailed their councillors to ask them to support the Energy Transition Strategy. Council passed the strategy with a 12-1 vote and amended it to include interim targets. Thank you. Your email to your councillor and the mayor made a difference. Edmonton now has a pathway to get to net-zero. In the future, we will need to ensure council funds bold climate action.
