Climate policy experts from the David Suzuki Foundation will be in New York to attend NYC Climate week (September 22 – 29) as the UN General Assembly holds the Summit of the Future (September 22 – 23), a special meeting on shaping multilateralism and global governance.

DSF experts are available for interviews and will be monitoring:

  • Fossil fuel phase-out and the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance’s activities
  • UN climate commitments and Summit of the Future outcomes
  • Canadian climate and environmental policy
  • Discussions on plastic pollution and production limits

Andréanne Brazeau, Senior Policy Analyst, David Suzuki Foundation, specializes in climate governance in Quebec, Canada and internationally. In addition to having participated in five Conferences of the Parties on climate, from COP24 to COP28, she is also a lecturer in international climate negotiations and environmental policy at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Thomas Green, Senior Climate Policy Adviser, David Suzuki Foundation, specializes in ecological economics, climate solutions, renewable energy and clean transportation. He holds BIS environmental studies, MA ecological economics, PhD ecological economics.
