Make Election 2021 count for people and the planet

Tell candidates you’re voting for a safe, equitable, sustainable future

This federal election will be pivotal in determining the future we want for our families, communities, country and planet.

The climate and nature crises are upon us. Throughout this country and around the world, we are witnessing devastating climate impacts, from heat domes and wildfires to floods, tornadoes and more. They are claiming hundreds of lives and destroying homes and wildlife habitats. As the August 9 IPCC report made clearer than ever, we need to act. Now.

As with COVID-19, climate change and environmental degradation will continue to disproportionately affect people of colour and low-income communities. We need a government we can trust to address the systemic inequalities that perpetuate environmental racism and harm Canada’s most vulnerable communities.

The good news is that solutions exist. Together, we can rebuild a more just society that is better for our health, the economy and nature. As we start to recover from the pandemic, we have a unique opportunity to invest in a green and just recovery. Any government that represents us must rise to the challenge and help build an equitable, carbon-neutral, nature-positive future for all. It all starts with your vote.

Casting your ballot can send a clear message about the world you want, today and in the future. With your vote and your voice, you hold decision- makers accountable for their promises and you help advance solutions to the issues that matter most to you.

Stand with us and hundreds of thousands of others in Canada in telling our federal party leaders that you will vote for a government that will prioritize urgent and bold climate action, environmental protection, social justice and Indigenous rights.
