Join thousands urging their MPs to stop Trans Mountain
During the past year, the federal government has made some bold, progressive decisions on climate policy, marine protection and endangered species. But a single decision — expected June 18 — could undermine those gains.
Expanding the Trans Mountain pipeline will lock in decades of increased tanker traffic and climate-destabilizing carbon emissions. It will also put the incredible ecosystems of Vancouver Harbour, the Fraser River estuary and the Salish Sea at risk from a catastrophic bitumen spill and shipping increases.
The good news: There’s still time to influence the June 18 decision!
Let’s flood MP and cabinet ministers’ email inboxes with messages opposing pipeline expansion.
The decision on Trans Mountain will set the course for Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions and marine safety for decades to come. Let’s make sure government makes the right call.
