Support La Rose youth climate lawsuit plaintiffs

Stand with these 15 youth in court climate action

In October 2019, 15 young people went to court for climate justice, demanding that the federal government stop violating their charter rights by perpetuating dangerous climate change. They want government to develop a science-based climate plan.

The government wants to have the La Rose case thrown out. Soon, the federal court of appeals will rule on whether the trial will be allowed to proceed. This decision will be critical for the fate of future generations and the fight against climate change.

The pandemic demonstrated that governments can and must take systemic action to address issues causing widespread harm to public health. It shows we must heed the science and act early and aggressively.
