Many of us can learn a lesson or two from bright, feisty teenagers. Not their idealism (though we can all use a bit of that too), but the importance of accountability. The deadline is looming. We need concrete, courageous plans that protect our waters, rebuild our soils and rehabilitate wildlife. Just as I say to my students and my children, it’s time to work hard and take risks. It’s time to be brave.
