I hear students’ concerns about the planet they’re inheriting. News of fires, droughts, polluted and rising water levels, heat waves, ice storms, intense hurricanes, displaced communities, food scarcity, biodiversity loss and species extinctions are becoming the norm, impacting livelihoods and mental health all over the world. Let’s make intentional, conscious choices to do better on a systemic level. Let’s be proactive and give our youth something to be hopeful about.
