The state of our planet in 2021 stands alone in a corner of a crowded room of threats. My community is so filled with smoke, so long without rain, anything else is better to talk about. A dismal “that’s the way things just are now” outlook is unacceptable. Through hard realities some may not have realized before is a universal acceptance of the fact that we have to make change. There is much left to save.
