For over a decade, Lufa Farms has been on a mission to create a better food system by growing food where people live and doing it more sustainably. They’re a Montreal-based agriculture company, and their mission led them to build the world’s first commercial rooftop urban greenhouse over a decade ago.
Their online Marketplace combines veggies from their rooftop farms with products from local farmers, foodmakers, and artisans — feeding over 20,000 families through weekly customizable baskets.
Sharing strong environmental beliefs, Lufa Farms has been a supporter of the David Suzuki Foundation from their very beginnings.
