On Tuesday May 14th Calgary council voted 9-6 to amend land use zoning so that more housing options like apartments and townhouses can be built. This is a huge win for our climate, natural areas and importantly it will make housing more affordable in Calgary. The housing and climate crises are connected and letters to council and delegations at council helped to address both crises. We can build a more sustainable Calgary Thank you.
