Let Calgary council know you want a sustainable city for all
Ask mayor and councillors to support rezoning for more housing options.
More density is a climate action. It will help reduce carbon emissions and protect wetlands on the city’s periphery. Increased density also means less sprawl, which means lower taxes to support sprawl. Email council to let them know you support rezoning.

Council wants to hear from you personally. So please consider editing the letter. You can:
- Introduce yourself (E.g., I’m a grandmother, immigrant, farmer, student, etc.)
- Tell council that the housing and climate crises are interconnected, and zoning for more density is a step toward solving both.
- Ask them if they will commit to supporting the rezoning motion and that you would like to hear back from them.
