We are so grateful for your efforts in the fight to stop Highway 413.
Together, we’ve raised awareness and shown decision-makers that people throughout Ontario – and all of Canada – care deeply about protecting the Greenbelt.
Thanks to your support, we were able to amplify the voices of farmers, nurses and scientists dedicated to the cause.
We also commissioned provincewide polling that confirmed most people in Ontario agree the Greenbelt is no place for new highways. AND more than 90,000 residents from across the nation emailed Canada’s environment minister to tell him that!
Sadly, this isn’t the end of the fight to stop Highway 413. Our friends at Environmental Defence are still hard at work protecting the Greenbelt. To stay in the loop on this important issue, be sure to follow along with them!
