B.C.’s wilderness is one of the last global safe havens for grizzly bears, which are extinct or at risk of disappearing worldwide. This study finds that little progress has been made to implement the province’s 1995 Grizzly Bear Strategy, leaving threatened bear populations in jeopardy.
