As United Nations climate negotiations approached, Canadians had an increasing desire to see their country take on a leadership role. This latest installment of public opinion polling undertaken by the Environics Institute for Survey Research in partnership with the David Suzuki Foundation tracks Canadians views with respect to climate change over time. Across the country, people are confident about the opportunities provided by renewable energy and are eager to see Canada sign on to an international agreement to cut carbon emissions.
